Milongas

The International tangoloft Milonga Weekend is all about traditional tango music. This event is designed for advanced dancers (min. 3–4 years experience) familiar with tango codes and etiquette.

Workshops

A varied workshop program with excellent dance couples accompanies the milongas.

Please note that the workshops of the two dance couples take place at the same time in different rooms (so you cannot take part in all workshops!)

Workshops and seminars with Gianpiero Galdi & Lorena Tarantino

In 2018 Gianpiero and Lorena begin their partnership, working every day on the flow of their tango connection based on deep mutual understanding. They are constantly developing their precise and effective didactic method, with the aim of providing accurate and meaningful communication tools.

Workshops with Natacha Lockwood & Andrés Molina

Natacha and Andrés dance style is original, elegant and very musical - there is no dance without surprising moves, deep feelings and humor! Their lessons are based on precise technique, but at the same time relaxed movements encourage you to leave space and freedom for improvisation.

Conditions of participation, prices & booking

Participents:

The International tangoloft Milonga Weekend is an event for advanced dancers with at least 3-4 years of dance experience, who know the common codes and value mindful behavior on the dance floor.

Weekend pass for milongas:

The milongas can be booked as a "Weekend Pass". The Weekend Pass costs € 120,- per person and includes entry to all four milongas (and water, coffee, tea, finger food and snacks). The Weekend Pass for the milongas can only be booked in pairs (1 leader and 1 follower).

Booking options - update from september 7th, 2025:

Milongas can now also be booked as individual events. It is now also possible to register as an individual. To ensure we maintain a balance between leaders and followers, you must indicate your role in the event and book either the leader or follower option accordingly. The Weekend Pass is now also available in two versions (leader/follower).

Booking options - update from october 6th, 2025:

Bookings for the Weekend Pass end on Saturday, October 11, 2025. There will be a day/evening box office for the milongas. Admission to the afternoon milongas costs € 25 per person. Admission to the evening milongas is € 35. At every Milonga, a welcome drink (Prosecco or orange juice) and a small buffet with sweet and savory finger food, mineral water, coffee, and tea are included in the entrance fee.

Workshops & seminars:

The workshops and the seminars can be booked only in pairs (1 leader and 1 follower), but as individual events and independently of the milongas. Women's technique workshop can be booked solo.

Participation in a workshop costs € 35,- per person, and a two-hour seminar costs € 50,- per person. The Women's Techniques workshop with Natacha Lockwood costs € 30,- per person.

Please note that the workshops of the two dance couples take place at the same time in different rooms (so you cannot take part in all workshops!)

Booking procedure

To book the weekend, you must first register. Please go to "mein Konto" in the menu and enter your user information, choose the option "Buchung von Veranstaltungen" to enable the booking function for events.

Alternatively, you can book as a guest (without registration).

Click the link to the german booking page below, go to the foot of the page and choose what you want to book. You will be led through the booking process.

You will be asked for your personal data as well as the name and email address of your dance partner. This data must be provided for each individual event. Next you choose the payment option. You can either pay with Paypal oder bank transfer (=Vorkasse; please note that you have to pay within 7 days). Be careful not to activate the link "Buchung abbrechen", you will delete your booking, your cart will be emptied and you will have to start again.
